Step 1. Fill out the registration form located above and advise us of which programmes/classes you would like your child to take for 2021. This is on a first in first served basis and we will create a waiting list if programmes/classes fill up.
Step 2. You will receive an email confirming your programme/class selections or any advice on alternative class options if we feel the selection is not correct.
Step 3. Pay for your classes online through our website from Monday 18th January 2021. Your child cannot begin class until payment has been made and your spot is only held until the first day of term. We are trying to set up a payment plan option for those who wish to pay by installments but until then if you need help in this area you can contact us to make a plan.
And don’t panic if something goes wrong such as a double payment or selecting the wrong package, we can easily reverse all payments and refund where necessary and we are very accommodating with this.

Academy programmes are to extend dancers who show passion, good ability and are very serious about their training and potential career in dance or performance. Acceptance into Academy programmes is by audition or invitation only. The Academy audition is held annually in September. Children in the Academy must also be doing the development programme classes as advised by the Academy staff. For 2021 the process of enrolment will be slightly different so read through the documents thoroughly.
Children in our Mini Academy are approximately 5 – 8yrs old and are already showing excellent dance foundations in their normal weekly classes. During their Academy training they will do extension technique and concentrate on a group piece that will be entered at our in-house and some regional competitons. Some children may also be selected to learn a solo or duo routine for regional comps. Click the button for more information
Children in our Open Academy range from 8 – 16yrs old. During their Academy training session they will do a group warmup, work on squads for regional comps, do an open coaching class to build on the techniques they need more work on, have mentoring sessions and work through choreography for our Academy performances. This is for very dedicated children who are going to get on board and work as a team, push themselves to achieve their own personal goals and be good role models at Silhouette. This is a programme we have decided to run for our current 2020 Senior students aged 15years plus who we know love their dance, want to have more performance opportunities and events and also begin to train up as teachers of the future. Teaching dance is a very popular career choice now that Covid has affected the performance world for the next few years.
These students displayed some stunning work in our ‘Olympus’ show and we want to make sure they feel supported with a programme that caters for their needs and goals. They will work alongside the Open Academy students but will have their programme customized to suit their busy school schedules and workload. Click the button for more information
We are proud of the way our studio has grown organically and how our programmes have developed from the immediate need of our students. We will continue to expand as required and aim to offer a full-time course option by 2022.
