Parties Terms & Conditions

  • You can arrive 30mins prior to the party start time to decorate/organise the celebration room, and greet guests in the waiting room.
  • Adults on premises are expected to actively supervise the children at a ratio of 1 adult to 10 children. Supervising adults are responsible for the safety and supervision of children at all times. 
  • All children under the age of 5 years must be actively supervised in the dance party zone
  • The hirer provides the birthday cake, party food and drinks. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, hot water jug and sink available for use.
  • You will need to bring your own milk, tea, coffee and sugar. 
  • Please bring your own rubbish bags as you will need to collect up all your rubbish at the end. We can remove this for you afterwards. We will provide cleaning cloths and a vacuum cleaner.
  • There will be a set 30 minute slot after the party dedicated to clean-up, where the party supervisor will stay on site and help. This includes the celebration room & kitchen (if used) being cleaned and vacuumed, with all surfaces wiped down and party decorations taken home (if you brought your own).
  • NO drinks or food (incl. chewing gum) are allowed on the wooden dance floors.
  • NOTE that if the rooms are not left tidy, there will be a $50 clean-up fee invoiced to you.
  • Please be aware of the speciality equipment. The hirer is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of equipment or facilities, if damage is caused by the hirer’s misuse. This also goes for the walls in the celebration room if decorations are being hung up.
  • Children should wear comfortable clothes if participating in the dance class.
  • Please make sure that guests are advised of what to wear to the party. NO zips, buckles, belts, buttons, skirts or jeans if Acro-Dance is selected.
  • Please inform parents that when they are dropping off their children they should arrive 10 minutes before the party’s scheduled time and 10 minutes before the end of time to pick them up.

  • NO alcohol is to be consumed on our premises unless with prior approval.
  • Our building and grounds are Smoke & Vape Free and therefore smoking is not permitted.
  • Please respect that our venue is a functioning dance studio and there may be others using other parts of the complex. Birthday party guests must always remain in the party building area.
  • No pets or animals are allowed on-site. 

PAYMENT TERMS

  • $50 non-refundable deposit is paid via the website prior to your booking being confirmed.
  • The booking form on the website must be filled in to secure your booking.
  • The final balance must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice (10 – 14 days prior to the booking).
  • The hirer is required to give 7 days’ notice via email (parties@silhouettestudios.co.nz) for any cancellation of a booking. Only a 50% refund is available if the booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the actual date of the booking.
